Milan Design Week 2023 | 03.18 - 21 2023 | Canton Fair Complex | 12.2A01 no.28 ⼤概四年前，我开始关注新中式这个抬头下包含的各种设计品，这之中不乏有西学中体，聚中华浩然⽓息的佳作。从这⾥出发，我开始关注那头房间⾥的猛犸象⸺中国这⽚⼟地上的造物传统。 越关注越⼿痒，越想⾃⼰也做点什么出来。⼏乎是在动念的同⼀时刻，我关注到明代造物传统与现代主义设计在实⽤与朴素追求上的相似性，事实上这是⼀种⻓存世界各地⺠间的平常事情，但我还是希望就这两个代表做⼀些设计融合。 明式悬臂椅（Cantilever Ming），就是在这种情况底下慢慢开发出来的。我们将代表明式的官帽椅和现代设计标志性的悬臂椅从功能与使⽤场景的⻆度进⾏结合，做了⼀把线条⼲净功能⻬⾜的原型，可是怎么看都觉得不对劲，于是让它在仓库的顶层货架上晾了⼀年多，才⼜有了修改的思路。 Click poster to read more
